Health for Humanity Campaign

19

Every January, Hindu YUVA organizes The Health for Humanity campaign, a sustained 15-day campaign, to increase awareness amongst the community members about how to maintain good physical and mental health by incorporating simple-yet-effective yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditation techniques in their everyday lives. This campaign also serves as a networking platform for health conscious members of the community to connect with each other. One of Hindu YUVA’s objectives is to reach out and serve the multi-cultural ISU community by conducting programs that encourage participation from diverse backgrounds. Health for Humanity campaign is one such event which is open to the ISU and Ames community, free-of-charge, and will see participation from members of YWCA (Ames), families from the local Ames community, ISU staff members and the heterogeneous ISU student community and many more. Below are the links which will showcase this event organized by Hindu YUVA in the past years at Iowa State University.
