ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY:
The documentary is the product of six years of extensive research and filming; contribution of 30 eminent scholars; 22,000 miles of travel, 137 locations to record from 84 archaeological sites; 37 museums, libraries, temples & shrines – an amalgamation that carves out a story which explores the elements of Yoga in the Harappa Civilization, Vedas, Jainism, Buddhism, Sufism, Hatha-Yogic practices of medieval times & other peripheral doctrines. The film ends in the 19th century where modern science acknowledges the potential of Yoga in a new light. India’s magnificent iconography, temple art, diverse culture & ancient relics, wall paintings and manuscripts unfold with the wisdom of Yoga in this path defining documentary.
