What is Consciousness? Is it that tune the resonates in the head, or the sweetness of a candy? Is it the happiness that love promises or the devastation of a breakup? How do we explain our experiences in life? How do we come in term with them? Have you ever wondered on the question ‘Who am I’?
Hindu Yuva organized a talk on August 7, 2018, given by Swami Sarvapriyanandaji, who covered the fundamentals of “consciousness” as expounded in the ancient Hindu Philosophy, and specifically within the school of Advaita Vedanta. He pointed out to an unchanging Pure Consciousness, referred to in the Sanskrit language as Satchidananda, which is also our real nature or Self.
His talk titled ‘Consciousness in Advaita Vedanta’ and it was attended with full house audience of 60 people.
