Hindu YUVA at ISU celebrated Diwali – The festival of lights at the Iowa State University Memorial Union on October 28, 2016. The “Fountain of Four Seasons” looked beautiful, adorned with tea lights, and the west terrace came alive with a traditional Diwali Rangoli and a Photo Booth. Hindu YUVA at ISU handed out a really cool Diwali gift this year – the new Diwali stamps issued by the USPS! People who stopped by were curious to know about Diwali, its significance and how it is celebrated. The festive spirit was certainly in the air, and it spread to every person who stopped by and lit up their Friday evening!
